This is a description of the Daniel Smith Watercolour Paint in Neutral Tint. This product is a dark, almost black color when unsaturated and is excellent for darkening other colors without the need for a complementary color. When mixed with other colors, this pigment creates clean, glowing new shades that retain their original transparency. Used alone, Neutral Tint is a wonderful tool for composing quick sketches. ASTM Lightfastness is excellent and staining is low-staining. Granulating is not necessary and transparency is semi-transparent.
