I apologize, upon searching PriceCheck I did not find any Samsung Galaxy Note 9 screen replacements or parts for around R1000. A few Samsung Galaxy A series phones were found around that price: The Samsung Galaxy A02s Dual SIM 32GB in black or white is available for R1099. It has a 6.5" HD+ screen, 13MP + 2MP dual rear cameras, and a large 5000mAh battery for all-day usage. It runs on an octa-core processor so apps and games should run smoothly. For an entry-level Samsung phone at an affordable price, this could be a good choice. Alternatively, the Samsung Galaxy A12 64GB dual SIM is available for R960 in blue or black. It has many similar specs to the A02s but has a slightly smaller screen at 6.5" and battery at 5000mAh. Still, for less than R1000 it would give you the quality of a Samsung device without stretching the budget. Please let me know if either of those Galaxy A series phones could work for your needs within your R1000 price range. I'm afraid I didn't see any Note 9 parts or screens at that price point.
